From a 95,000 square foot engineering facility in Arbroath on the East Coast of Scotland, 50 miles south of Aberdeen, Mountwest Petroleum Engineering offers customers an unrivalled pipe threading and machining service.
OCTG The scope of services includes saw-cutting the joint to required lengths, swaging and stress relieving of pipe ends, threading, inspection, phosphating (both manganese and Zinc), torquing, stenciling and protection. Mountwest offers machining on both full length joints as well as pup joints.
Hollow spindle lathes can handle sizes from 2 3/8” through to 13 3/8” and are able to thread larger diameter threads (up to 26”) on lengths not exceeding 10 feet.
